EDG appreciates that undertaking design of a club is unique to other industries and the clubs relationship to the community and the committee are vital considerations.

Clubs often present an opportunity to implement the latest in lighting and audio visual technology. The result of this technology can be spectacular, however EDG is careful to ensure the operation of such systems is simple and user friendly.

The process of developing an electrical services brief by EDG will typically involve the club management in:

• Assisting with the identifying the existing conditions.

• Establishing the needs and objectives

• Reviewing the operational and cost implications of the                                                                     various design options

• Assisting with the construction program / sequence.

 

Given the long lasting and evolving nature of clubs, the majority of EDG’s clubs experience has been expansions and renovations.  In most cases, the club has needed to remain operational during the works. With the numerous electrical operating systems in a modern club, EDG has to work closely with the club management and architect to develop an appropriate design and construction program / sequence.
