DRAFTING CUSTOMISATION

EDG has invested considerable time and resources over the past 10 years towards streamlining and customising our design drafting software. For example, customised tool buttons for each symbol used on EDG drawings ensures that each symbol is inserted on its correct layer and has the correct line type and thickness for printing. This process has also improved the speed and efficiency of printing and archiving drawings in different formats. This has been done in order to maximise the consistency, reliability and speed of delivery of drawings and other documents for our clients.

DETAILS LIBRARY

EDG has created a details library to assist with the documentation of projects. This means all typical details of a design job, from Cool Room Conduit Penetration to an Emergency Lighting Schematics are on hand almost instantly and stored electronically in one location. These details have also been created with assistance and feedback from various electrical subcontractors, builders and architects who work with these details on a regular basis. This means that each new project is documented with the latest and most up to date details, again offering confidence and peace of mind to our clients.
